To become assistant at art aspects

We offer to young people from Europe the possibility to work as a Grundtvig Assistant at art aspects. The assistants receive a deep insight in the whole organisational structure of art aspects and take part in the promoted EU programmes. In addition, they have the possibility to form their own EU projects. The Grundtvig assistantships are part of the lifelong learning program of the EU. You will find all necessary information for a application on the websites of you National Agency. Deadline for the next term will be in March 2011.

Robyn Taylor (b.1986, England). BA in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, UK.

Having graduated in September of 2009, I am now waiting to begin my Grundtvig Assistantship with art aspects. This opportunity will allow me to spend 11 months in the city studying the language and gaining valuable work experience. I will be working at art aspects until June 2011, during this time I aim to assist in the development of creative workshops with art aspects and the Lifelong Learning Programme in order to create a multitude of opportunities for European citizens who wish to further their education. Through my direct contact with the UK, I will carry out continuous research into the various aspects of adult education with the hope of maintaining European networks with organisations working in the same fields as art aspects.
Since graduating, I have been trying to discover a way to utilise all that I have learnt and apply it to an occupation that would be of benefit to the wider community. Working with art aspects, would allow me the perfect opportunity to exercise my skills in a productive and thoughtful manner with a focus on the greater gain of an audience, community or independent learner.

Being that the art society is relatively new in it’s founding, I hope I can contribute significantly to its development and sustainable setup with the aim of many years of future collaboration.

Axel De Macq (b. 1991 in Braine L'Alleud), future student for adult education or communication design.

During my voluntarily internship in the art aspects art society, which is not funded from the EU-program, I wish to gather practical experience in both courses of studies.

My interests in art belong to fotography, pursued by consecutively revision on computer with graphics software and drawing. In that field I'm very attentive to contrasts and shades and I try to take my shots in interesting compositions. Furthermore in the domain of my drawings my focus is settled on unusual moments.
